Articles 24-26 set out minimum standards for the accommodation of workers, and provide that the employer must ensure the physical integrity and safety of the accommodation provided to workers, as well as adequate health and hygiene conditions, sufficient lighting, and the suitability of the living quarters to accommodate the worker and his or her family comfortably. Articles 27 and 28 set out the employer’s obligation to provide adequate food and water supply.
Decree 301/2013 provides that upon termination of the employment of a permanent worker, for any reason, the employee has 30 days to vacate his/her house.

Law No. 26,727 is aimed at protecting the rights of agricultural workers and includes their labour rights and duties. This Law represents a significant improvement in the legal working conditions for agrarian work (8 hour work day, minimum wage, prohibition of intermediaries, leave, sick and paternity leave, among other provisions). Law No. 26,727 applies even if the agricultural workers are employed abroad, but their work is performed within the Argentine territory. Decree No. 301/2013 includes regulations implementing certain provisions Law No. 26,727.
