Article 370 criminalises the buying or disposing of a person as a slave, and punishes this offense with up to 7 years of imprisonment and a fine.
Article 370. Whoever imports, exports, removes, buys, sells or disposes of any person as a slave, or accepts, receives or detains any person as a slave against his will, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
